I constantly find myself revisiting Guitar Hero/Rock Band after a break of a few months, usually finding that I've improved after an initial period of familiarisation. I can also see Street Fighter IVĀ being a game that I'll head back to time and time again after I've got over my initial burst of activity.

Nice to hear your insights on the retro games, don't get into any retro stuff myself as I can barely afford to keep myself in current games. Think it would work a little better if you sat in a chair (perhaps with a nice pipe and a glass of Scotch) and talked things through, as apart from the cartridge shots it's like listening to your bed. Unless you're the elephant-mans uglier brother in which case you probably are better off behind the camera.

Bear with me here.

The chiseled jawline, constant muscle-flexingĀ and cowardly way he runs from danger could only come from Captain Qwark

The question remains about his other parent however, and I'm drawn to suggest it may be Buzz Lightyear, perhaps it is that toothy grin and masses of self-belief.

Finally, whilst searching for a pic of Dan to act as a comparison, I came across this curiosity. If anyone were to play Dan in a film it would have to be HIM, just look at it, it's uncanny!

Thoughts anyone? Any other suggestions as to his parentage?

"Does anyone know when these are out in the UK? I'm finding the normal pad far too annoying."

I ordered from Shopto.net and got mine on launch day (well a day early, but they're always early),Ā so they are out there, you just need to find them as I think stock shortage is a problem now.

"theres another stupid "glitch" in sf4. well i dont know if its a glitch, you decideusing ryu, ken, dan, and maybe sagat i havent tried it with him.when you crouch close to your opponent and hit medium punch twice they do their dragon punch.its pretty damn stupid, bad enough that the animations are slow. Other then that the games pretty good."

Can anyone else confirm this as it doesn't sound right to me. Are you sure you're not just going through the dragon punch motions whilst pressing punch? Even a similar motion may well pull one off as it seems nice and generous now with the actions, just look at how easy it is to pull off Zangief's Ultra/super.

Most was 1800 something, although it's like poker, once you're on a hot streak you get loads, finally managed the 10 ranked wins in a row yesterday, then today I've been terrible, lost around 600 BP and I'm sat back down around 1200, kept saying to myself, 'one more and you can get back into the groove and get your points back' yet they kept chipping away.

I tend to sleepwalk when drunk. Was playing a bit too much Star Wars Galaxies a few years back whilst still living with my 'rents and sleep-walked into their room, my mum woke up and asked me what I was doing 'I'm scouting' I replied (was putting in loads of hours towards the scout class) and she had to walk me back to my room.

Next time was when I was doing a charity car rally across Europe and was staying at a hotel in Austria, had been out sampling the delights of the town during the evening and managed to get our party back to our hotel room using my drunken navigation system (never fails). I can then remember having a vivid dream where I was in a dark corridor in my boxers, walking up to a corner and peering round, hoping to find someone I'd recognise, seeing nothing I started to panic and got quite scared, went downstairs into a lobby area and down further into the basement, peering around in the dark looking for the rally organisers as I was determined they could save me. Still dreaming I found myself sat inĀ a hotel lobby on the stairs in a state of panic, which is where I must have started to wake up as I began to recognise my surroundings, I then realised I must have been sleepwalking throughout my dream and dashed back up to the 4th floor to find that the hotel room door was still wide open.

So I'd spent probably 5 or 10 minutesĀ sleep-walking around a hotel in the middle of the night in just a pair of boxers, taking comfort afterwards in the fact that one of my mates and brother were in the hotel room, otherwise I'd have experienced the whole ordeal naked, which could have been doubly embarrassing.

I'm with you on the character packs, game has really sucked me in at the moment and I'm trying to find figures, T-Shirts you name it, so a few points for some additional costumes, whilst a rip-off, actually makes perfect sense to me at the moment and I think I'm going to have to buy them all.

First post here, so hello.

What I found with the FADC was that I was only pulling it off like 1 in 4 times, then I realised you need 1/2 your super bar to use it, which would explain why a lot of the time it wasn't working at all for me. I'm still no good at pulling it off in a match, but I just thought I'd check that you're definitely attempting it with at least 1/2 of your super bar left?
