To anyone who has played this, how much further is this department store? I don't think they'll stick to Condemned for much longer considering they still have an entire stack of games to play through for the Fear Gauntlet.

I was just thinking this exact same thing while watching this yesterday. Although I am 90% sure this won't happen, it needs to. Why can't the interns get 15 minutes out of an 7 hour live show?

I love the stairs scare, Steve actually sounded terrified and shocked.

Kessler's beard looks okay, though it gives him a little Michael Moore-ish look.

I don't get the love for Condemned 2 in this thread. Yes, I will agree that the bear scene was AMAZING, but the game as a whole is extremely inferior to Condemned 1. Shortly after the bear scene, you get guns out the ass in that game, and it just ruins all the tension.

The thing I love about Condemned 2 is the melee system and the upgraded forensic system.  It's the best first person melee system around and even 3 - 4 years later barely anyone has tried to do it again or better.  The amount of options available to the player is excellent and was a big improvement over 1.  Being able to throw hobos into tvs, through windows, use your fists, perform hooks etc.  I also love how batshit insane C2 is compared to C1.  It's just outright mental and in a good way.  I can completely understand why many fans of Condemned hated the changes made for 2 as it goes for different things.  C2 has a fantastic atmosphere but unlike Condemned 1 it's more of a drunken hobo nightmare whilst Condemned 1 is more of a detective horror game.  I love them both dearly but for different reasons.  I do agree though C2's big problem was when it turned mostly to guns later on in the game.  Still love Monolith though, one of most underrated FPS devs around as far as I'm concerned and one of my favourite devs.  Love their stuff.  I look forward to anything they make greatly.
