The new site killed the forums, killed the comment section on videos, and will probably drive site traffic to YouTube outside of premium videos.

This whole thing is just a huge mess. I wonder what their most recent membership and unique user stats are right now compared to this time last year. I have a feeling they aren't good.

Depending on my mood it could be pizza or cheese burgers.

I can understand spending some cash on a good jacket or a pair of boots or even sunglasses or a nice watch because these are things that tend to last a long time and good quality usually costs money so... yeah I can see spending some dough on stuff like that but I don't get people spending tons of money on everyday clothes from designer brands because that stuff usually doesn't last and, if you are following fashion trends, probably will be out of style and never worn again after a year or two.

@jonny_anonymous: It is? I thought it was more of a "Progressive leaning video game website" or whatever they billed it as.

@jonny_anonymous: It's not so much that they don't have humor but more along the lines (to me at least) is that their humor doesn't hit and they tend to overreact and over politicize things to the point of driving people away. Heavy handed, I guess.

International shipping ain't cheap. I believe it's mostly weight and size based, so a book won't be much but still in the $50 range usually, give or take.

Absolutely. The more I use the new site the more I dislike it. As I've said in another thread, if it wasn't for premium content I'd never use the site because of the redesign.
