This is, imo, the end of Giant Bomb. Because why would anyone still working here even have faith that they're not going to be laid off tomorrow no matter how important to the site and how awesome and integral they have been over the years. I certainly don't have any faith in the suits to not just gut and kneecap things even more, regardless of how much effort the people working here put in and how much the fans show up, because this lay off decision shows that there is literally no rhyme or reason to anything at the upper management at this website anymore, the suits who keep managing to fuck up a website people have loved for years despite said fuckery. I'm pretty sure all Fandom wants is the wiki back end tech and is willing to let the actual soul of the place wither and die, and that's fucking bullshit.

I could listen to you talk about the emulation scene forever, it's always incredibly fascinating. Please take care of yourself duder.

Please keep doing this. Shooting the shit has always been my favorite part of the Bombcast (outside of emails), so an uncut dose is just about the best thing ever.

Anyways holy shit this game looks like it was made for me. 2D Soulsvania with a metal as fuck aesthetic and paragraphs of incomprehensible lore and item descriptions. There's nothing here I don't like.

I slogged through a save editor at the time to fix the results of a failed Tali/Miranda loyalty check because I was playing ME2 like I did ME1, where I'd pick the choice that I felt was the most in character, not the one that would get me the most Arbitrary Alignment Points that it turns out are necessary to keep my squad from dying in the suicide mission.

I too, wouldn't blink if Alex decided to veto this. Nowhere does it say on Samara's bio that she's a loner without leadership experience, it's not outlandish to think she trained others at the Justicar monastary at some point or would at least be amiable to directing others to work with her towards her cause when others agree with her. If I were the GM she would be a valid choice is all I'm saying.
