I tried the Gargoyals so many times alone. I kept getting one to two hits from dead and they would both hit me with fire. So I summoned a guy to help. I did kill the Capera demon alone which im proud of. The Gaping dragon I KNOW i could do alone but do not wanna go spend an hour on chipping at his health. And for the spider someone helped

Lie, get a shield with higher stability and you can block any attack from any enemy. Get the hollow soldier's shield (maybe upgrade it twice) and just circle strafe him and if he hits the shield recover stamina, and if he misses hit him twice. rinse and repeat, no dodging, no guessing, no risk. killed him my first try ever even knowing about him.
