@The_Laughing_Man: For me I like using the mace I started with. What works best for me is the median between slow and fast.

I use a 2h Divine Serpent Man sword which is a 2 hander but is somewhat faster then some other 2handers so I am able to work with the timing on it.

The mace is fairly quick, and has high base stat of 90 so it scales really high which is why I like it. It also has a B in strength which means it gets more out of strength as I level it then say most weapons in the game that are rank C.

On my warrior I play occasionally I really like to use 1 handed swords. There is some pretty decent str/dex swords, although the best ones I have found seem to not be upgradable with anything but twinkling which is kinda bleh

Plus I like to be different then everyone else and try to use weapons no one else seems to use. =P

Why is it that so many games that talk about how hardcore they are - GTA, Saints Row, Bayonetta, Lollipop Chainsaw, etc. seem to never have any real nudity in them?

I'd like to see more games like this quit messing around and take off the gloves . . . and bras and panties.

@The_Laughing_Man: It really just depends on what kind of weapon you want to use. While some like to play the min/max with stats, it's not that big of a deal realistically. Spears are good if you want to just poke out at the enemy from behind your shield, 2h swords and hammers are good if you want to pound on stuff and can deal with the slower timing, 1h weapons are good if you want quick blows (they will hit for less damage but more often and less likely to leave you open if you miss), daggers and such are good for back stabs (as I have noticed a lot of them tend to have higher crit chance).

Your weapon is a personal choice as they all play differently- so find what works best for you. The upgrades you do to them will help with the damage and sometimes how they are modified.

If you want to min/max I am not the best to ask, but I do know certain enemies are weak to different things so electricity or fire tends to be the most useful, divine is useful mainly in the catacombs but I have found if you level with faith (like I do) then you can get just as good dmg out of it as elemental effects.

The type of weapon best for you is really just dependent on how you want to play and what works best for you. Don't be afraid to experiment, as you will see all the different types work differently.

I've actually been surprised at how thriving the 360 community has been. I've summoned someone with little issue for just about every boss and got invaded within duke's archives alone about 5-6 times. Got summoned a whole bunch for the Seath boss fight also.

I play on 360 and haven't had this problem. Just recently was summoned into someones world (I'm level 60 in Anor Londo).

I see ghosts and messages and get summons to invade frequently as well.

Yup, last time i noticed that I couldn't summon anyone to help me out with certain bosses. I was standing before the entrance to quelaag for like 40 minutes and nothing. I had to beat her all by myself. I hope that the comming patch will fix it and i will be able to play online with other people.

@The_Laughing_Man: Yes I believe you can ascend it at +10. Talk to the Giant Blacksmith at Anor Londo, although I don't remember at the moment which ember you need for it (if any).

I started this yesterday, made some progress and have now reached the Gargoyles. I have a few questions

• I thought I'd take a look at the guide and it lists the Capra Demon before the Gargoyle encounter, have I accidentally took the harder path?
• Also how the hell do you call in help? I couldn't figure out how to use my miracle either, thought it would be like my Pyromancy but its just blacked out.

@The_Laughing_Man: A lot of people are saying on your first play through using lightning is currently the best, although fire works pretty well too. I personally use multiple weapons at the moment (I have found having a divine weapon on hand to be useful) so I use a Snake man great sword Divine +5 and my mace I have electricity on for now until I get my weapon buff that I want.

@The_Laughing_Man: There are still problems with level matchups.

Im pretty sure he was far far higher level then me. He took no damage at all from my Combustion spell. Why is that? Does the Covent cat eye ring ignore the rules? Did I get matched with someone super high level? 

Actually, it's slightly more powerful than those systems. It would be surprising because GTA isn't a franchise typically associated with a Nintendo launch. Plus, GTA has never happened on a non-handheld Nintendo system.

been playing the 360 version, i've seen lots of signs when i was playing at around soul level 100ish... though i finished the game the past weekend haven't touched it since.   Dunno if it's region specific when choosing lobbies, but i play on the west coast.
