I only played two levels as well. It was so, so, so Hotline Miami that I instead opted to replay Hotline Miami 2 instead. The hyper-violent lone wolf living in an apartment unreliable narrator in an achronological story was a little too "inspired by." Knowing that the story goes places though, it makes me want to get back in, especially if it's only a few hours long.

Sick! Hell yeah! With Nextlander and now this I can feel the excitement creeping back in. It's like a fun new chapter.

Awesome! I'm super excited to see what the podcast and Twitch channel are like. I'm also happy that these three are collected into one space, selfishly; it's hard to follow people's work as they bop around to and fro.

They've said all games will be on both platforms for the foreseeable future, no?

If it's going to continue to follow the trend of every in-house ubisoft game having complete dog ass compression on the vocal audio then I think I can wait til it's discounted to bare minimum prices.

I can't believe they haven't fixed this. Even playing Far Cry 3 on the 360 as a dumb teenager, I noticed something sounded bad. Trying to play it on PC is absolutely unbearable.

I like the expansion they've done on the human combat. Some of those new options look very fun, and they also seem to have removed that annoying bullshit where human enemies would dodge randomly with I frames for 35 minutes while you swung your sword like a jackass.

Not a big fan that they've brightened the night up, though. It looks like daytime will be human time, and night time will be zombie time. I loved the scrambling, panicked feeling of being in the night in the first game and it felt amazing to master that gameplay loop. Making the night easier to navigate and less tense is a big negative in my book.

I have sunk about 200 hours in and I still boot it up to run a few maps when I'm bored.

I've tried to get some friends into it, and unfortunately the game really does fumble its opening. My first time through the game left me with some pretty basic weapons, armour, and weapon mods and it wasn't until I started to mess with rolling different adventures that I started to find some of the more wild and interesting weapons. it's hard to convince people to stick with it when the first five hours are boring brown city with boring brown pistol and boring brown shotgun.

@alistercat: Playing down someone's opinion is a real funny way of acknowledging differing opinions.

Certainly not itching to anymore. I really wanted to grab a new RTX card to upgrade from my 1080 and a PS5, so I could sell my PS4 Pro. At this point I'm happy with my backlog of games and I'll probably hold out for the 40-series of cards next year when supply is unfuckered, and grab a PS5 late this year or early next.
