Just finished playing the Director's Cut tonight. As you all know, great game. I never played the original, and I don't normally play console games, but besides design issues, I never had any issues with bugs or framerate.
I played through the whole game after dinners with my wife, sister, cousin and her boyfriend. Everyone had a good time, and I will be starting Persona 4 this Friday after dinner of Pulled Pork and Thomas' Biscuits ( http://imgur.com/a/xR06i )
Haha I saw that as well as I was driving past Quint. Also when I was trying to track down the twins for a side quest, one of them was stuck inside the geometry. It was in a bush though, so he may be playing hide and seek...
If Lilly is at the bank, stand in front of the ATM and rotate the camera. If you do it just right you can clip through the bank and see her standing, facing the door, in a small black room.
I played for a few hours last week. The game is totally playable. I don't normally play console games so I didn't notice any issues with framerate or anything else. I'll be playing some more tonight.
Anyone have the US version of the game? Is it just as bad?
Unfortunately, I can confirm that the performance issues are applicable to the US version as well (the PSN download, at least). I put a quick snippet below, and it's pretty much like-for-like with what you've uploaded.
Still, I think it's playable and the frame rate is only spotty in certain sections. I haven't gotten to the meat of the game, so I'll see what the driving looks like and maybe update this post with another clip.
Thanks for the clip, I suppose now the big question is gonna be when can PS3 owners expect a patch. This release is gonna be dead on arrival if these issues are not corrected.
I'll bet you 0.05 Bitcoins that there is never a patch.
