I canceled my premium a while ago, took the free month of premium that was offered once it seemed like it would be worth my time, and then canceled my subscription once that month was up. (or more accurately the day after, because I forgot. I guess they got $5 free dollars.)

Frankly, it was only three or so days into the free month that that I just started downloading as much of the older content from the archives as possible.

I hate to say it, but it isn't just that I don't like the newer shows (I don't), it's that due to a combination of home offices and staff leaving, there is no chemistry between who is left. And I don't want to be mean, because I know the staff at Giant Bomb are real people doing their best to be entertaining. But an ensemble cast only works when they have chemistry.

These days, all I will watch is the stuff with Jeff either on his own, or doing a Quicklook with someone else. And that's free.

The only conceivable reason I can thing of to buy Premium again is to download whatever I missed from the archives.

I've done it before, yeah.

It's usually not during action. Usually it's because I have reached a point in which the tone or story is just very pleasant or comforting to me.

I'll smile like that during the Persona games all the time because it feels like I'm hanging out with friends.

Never forget that Tommy Tallarico was the man who gave the licensed Willy Wonka game for the terrible Johnny Depp movie a perfect 10/10 on his review show because he liked the music.

This thread is the utter personification of the 'This is fine" dog.

I want what it was.

"A website about videogames."

And I'm getting that. At Nextlander.

Honestly? Probably.

With the exception of Jeff slowly losing his mind in his garage, (which is NOT premium content) I don't think i have watched a new Giant Bomb video in...6 months? And even then I'm only thinking of one video.

I feel like the quality of content has gotten staggeringly low. I know its not entirely their fault, but there comes a point in which a product simply loses its value. Unless something drastic changes in a few weeks, (it wont) I really don't know that I'll continue my subscription.

To be perfectly honest, as it stands, I feel like the best price point would be... well... free.
