Look, I'm honestly on the side of the so called 'complainers' at this point.

I was happy when Dan came back, and had been watching a lot of the new content, when it finally hit me. I'm more often annoyed than I am enjoying. It really became acute when during Eternal Darkness with the "Sanity Effects". Which was a joke that was old 10 minutes into the first episode. Once Dan learned he could do the high pitched voice, I was done. Not just with that specific series, but with Giant Bomb as a whole.

Oh I know what you are thinking. Very originally, you are going to point out I'm posting on the forums. Yeah. I am. I check in every once in a while. The first couple episodes of Grubsy 3D were pretty fun! ...Till yet again the voice actress joke was run into the ground within the first 10 minutes of the episode because Dan doesn't understand comedic timing, and rather, focuses on quantity over quality. And I say this as someone who was subscribed to his personal streams from before he even started his pandemic streaming.

My advice? Move on. Nextlander has nice, relaxed streams. Vinny is as funny as ever. Jeff's content, while running a little too long at times, is fantastic. (Just remember to not look at the chat. It's an absolute nightmare)

Check in on Giant Bomb every once in a while. Laugh or Don't. Old Giant Bomb is never coming back, but you can see the seed of it elsewhere. With any luck, those seeds will blossom.

I own two PS5's, and I barely even feel like 'next gen' has started yet. Hell no I wouldn't buy a 'new' version. They haven't even developed for the old one yet.

That happens frequently enough that I almost don't feel like I should answer, but I guess, if I had to pick one, I'd pick Ending E: Nier Automata.

The end of Mother 3, where the characters remind me that I can 'come visit any time' was also a very sweet moment.

I guess, with me, it also happens a lot when a character or characters who have given everything they could possibly give in a fight, and then find it in themselves to push just a little harder and overcome impossible odds.

As far as I'm concerned, there were only ever two Batmen. Adam West and Kevin Conroy. (There is an excellent episode of the animated series where Adam West plays a sort of psudo-Batman, and works together with Kevin Conroy's Batman.)

Anyone else was a pretender. Much like how no one can ever measure up to Christopher Reeve as Superman, there is no Batman anymore.

You're right, why would they? I'm not saying they have a reason to pay. I'm saying that they're going to most likely stay on Twitter regardless of whether or not they keep a blue checkmark.

Either that, or reduce their social media footprint significantly.

They'll do what everyone else is doing. Complain and then either suck it up and either pay, or lose their verified status.

Anyone else who is pretending something else will happen is really just fooling themselves. Virtually nothing will change.

Please don't call that a MGS game. It certainly shares a title, but I refuse to acknowledge it as a part of that series.

Metal Gear Solid V is the biggest hunk of garbage ever shat out by a major company.

That game is so mindless, and its story so terrible and incoherent, that it made me question whether or not Kojima was just a George Lucas level hackfraude who got lucky.

The podcast is the thing I am absolutely the least interested in from all these people. It doesn't help that each one is so long. Jeff's Podcasts are like 3 hours long... who the hell has time for that?

Like, not talk to the people who made Weed their entire personality anymore? Because that is exactly what I did.

Thankfully not 'everyone I associate with' became that kind of person. But your concern is noted.
