In our E3 2011 pre-show we give our predictions and wishes for the show. We cover the big 3 of Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft and we also talk about the major 3rd party publishers.
We first start off by announced our E3 2011 podcasting plans then moving on to what we've been playing Garry talks about Mortal Kombat. Alex then talks about Tony Hawk Shred, Tornado Outbreak, Full House Poker and finally Ticket to Ride. We go over the new releases and then the gaming news. Which is mostly about Sony but also we found out the Duke Nukem Forever actually went gold this past week. We'll believe it when it's on shelfs.
Garry starts off by talking about the classic gaming stuff he's picked up while Alex then talks the obscure Densha de Go 64 (Go by Electric Train 64) that he played on his japanese Nintendo 64. Then we then talk about Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad and X-Blades which we both had played. We then go over the new releases and news which limited to Sony. Finally Tom joins Alex to talk all about Portal 2 in spoiler discussions.
This week Garry checked out the Gears of War 3 beta while Alex finished up Darksiders. This week's major new releases include L.A. Noire and The Witcher 2. In the news we go over some rumors that are leading up to E3. We go over the April top sales and finish up with more chat about the Sony PSN disaster. We then finish up our spoiler discussion featuring Darksiders in part 3.
We're back for a regular episode and Alex starts off by talking more about Portal 2 and Darksiders, while Garry talks more about his Windows Phone 7. We then go over the new releases and the gaming news. Which of course includes more talk about Sony being hacked and Nintendo's new console. Finally we continue our spoiler discussions of Darksiders in part 2. After 2+ weeks we are finally back after being sick and having other stuff preventing us from recording. In the meantime though Alex has played Portal 2 four times over, loves it and is looking forward to playing it even more. Alex has also been playing the new Mortal Kombat and Darksiders. Garry got a Windows Phone 7 which he talks all about including the games he has been playing on it. Garry has also started Brütal Legend for a future spoiler discussions. We then get caught up with the new releases over the past two weeks. Finally in the news we talk about the wonderfully irresponsible Sony due to the security breach of the Playstation Network that has caused the service to be down for 13 days so far and also has required Alex to change passwords and get a reissued credit card. We then talk a little bit about Nintendo's new console as we run out of time. Spoiler discussions featuring Darksiders is delayed and will be wrapped up next episode.
This week we both played some Darksiders while Garry also played some Halo: Reach and Mass Effect. Alex finished up Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End along with a few Wii games. This week's new release line up is the best this year to date will Portal 2, Mortal Kombat and more. In the news we go over the sales numbers for March and also the Kinect support for Netflix. Darksiders is the new game featured in Spoiler Discussions.
This week Alex played some Pilot Wings Resort and Garry hit up some Battlefield. As always we go over the new releases and gaming news. Although this episode is mostly dominated by Dead Space 2 and the Severed DLC, as we wrap up our final Spoiler Discussions of the Dead Space series until we see the release of the next installment.
This week both talk about our time in Halo: Reach online. Garry finish The History Channel: Civil War and Alex got a Nintendo 3DS and also played X-Men Arcade and Raskulls on XBLA. Also some spoiler free talk about Dead Space 2 is had, in which stuff will like is discussed and then Alex voices an issue he had with the game. Before getting into part 2 of our Dead Space 2 spoiler discussions, we also go over the new releases and news.
