Maybe you're all looking into it a bit too much.

Maybe the review just isn't done yet. I know in Battlefield's 3 case, the console patch hasn't been released yet so a lot of press are holding out on their reviews of the game. This could be the case for GB, instead of releasing a review for the PC version exclusively they're waiting until they see the console version, before releasing the full review.

In Uncharted's case, the embargo hasn't even lifted yet and Brad mentioned on the Bombcast that he's been playing U3, but cannot talk about it. (because of the embargo obviously)

Yes and No.

I feel that the length of the Bombcast is fine, as I generally don't just sit down and listen. I usually do other things whilst listening to the Bombcast, as I'm not required to sit down and focus all my attention on the Bombcast to get the full experience.

Whereas with a video, I need to sit down and watch the video in order to gain the full experience. Sitting down for 40 mins to watch a commentary of video game is a time commitment. If you've got a busy lifestyle, I can see how it may be difficult to sit down to watch a QL unless you make time for it. In which case, you've probably got better things to do with your free time.

But to be honest, I don't think the length of the Bombcast and QL's should be cut down. A lot of people including myself enjoy the length of the content, and I feel your only complaining because it doesn't really fit within your lifestyle.

Wait, people are seriously waiting for the Wii U version when the game comes out next week?

Bethesda titles are usually removed from Steam as soon as they're released at retail, showing up later on Steam. In the UK, at least.

My understanding is that retailers are the reason behind this.

Well you got it already, sooooo I'd say just play it. It's not as if the game is bad.

It sucks, but you can't really complain as the reason for Delays are usually to make the game better.
