Dishonored has everything I could want in a game: open areas to approach your objective how you want, tons of ways to dispatch your enemies, a big skill tree to customize your own brand of gameplay.
And the game bores me to tears. I don't know if it's because the world doesn't feel coherent to me, or maybe I just don't care for the story. Maybe there's something about the animation, which has like a weirdly stilted "early 90s CG" style about it. Whatever the reason, I have never been able to play for more than an hour of that game.
