The 360 controller is just superior when it comes to shooters. That doesn't mean PS3 shooters are unplayable or bad with the dual shock, it just isn't my preference.
Bizarre foods and no reservations are the best on the list. Anthony Bourdain pisses me off more often than not but he manages to make an entertaining show. Andrew Zimmern is just and entertaining person to watch eat weird shit. The rest of the shows are meh.
It's really lame that you can't even play xbox games online on the 360 but I suppose if the friends list grows it isn't all bad.
Still a bit of a bummer. I don't actively play online xbox games anymore but if I ever wanted to I can't. This only means they HAVE to make a new Unreal Championship for 360. (the liandri conflict)
I thought about buying this the other day and wasn't sure if it was worth my time. From the looks of this thread I'm going to go pick it up right now. I loved champions of norrath and torchlight but barely played diablo2. I can't wait for diablo 3 but maybe this will hold me over until then. Torchlight was really fun but it didn't really hook me in like I thought it did. Probably because I played a vanquisher running around explosive shotting things into Oblivion. Fun at first but gets a tad boring after a while.
" To be fair, Ryan did call Avatar a "technical achievement" in CGI. Which it is.
It's just that that's all it is. And that is where many take issue with the film. "
Sometimes that's okay. There's nothing wrong with a good popcorn movie once in a while. Something where you can turn off your brain and just enjoy the show. Where people see Ryan as a snob is that he (any many other people) seem to think that every movie should mess with your mind, or make you thing hard about the morality of the world, or change your life forever. To me, movie snobs are people that can't enjoy a good popcorn flick. It's a shame that they can't but if that's how they view movies then it's their prerogative to do so.
As for the people that DID enjoy Avatar, don't get upset when some dude doesn't like it. Even if Avatar was named the best movie of all time by every single critic in the world, some jerk would say it sucked.
