Oh, absolutely. I mean, every time a critic makes a declarative statement, I'm pretty sure most people recognise that they're sacrificing the clarity of stating that it's an opinion for the sake of brevity. It's just par for the course with criticism.

This might actually be a crazy thing to say but is Dan way better at singing in Kermit's voice than he is in his own voice?

I also seem to remember him doing some Guns 'n' Roses solely in cats meows and that being...way better than his normal singing?

@luck702: I hate to admit that I agree but there's only so many times I can hear a person open a sentence with "I think" before that gets *remarkably* grating.

Like in that bit where she was making a case for Dream Daddy and she did it about 10 times in a row, I gave it a pass because I figured she was going for emphasis.
And then for the next four hours it seemed like almost everything she said started with "I think" and it became distracting.

Hope nobody thinks I'm trying to rip on her because I love Abby but I think it's something she could review and address to become a stronger on-mic personality.

Otherwise, I like knives-out so I'm generally okay with this format (even if some of the hard cuts really hurt to go through).

I absolutely listened to more new music this year but none of it stood out enough for me to remember right now.

I'm playing a lot of Yakuza 0. It's amazing and I love it.

If I can dip my little toe into the critical(?) sphere: Holy shit is this game long.

But I still love it in spite of that. Hell, maybe even because of that.

Best of luck man. Since the site's inception I've only ever dipped my toe in the forums compared to someone like yourself but whenever I kept an eye on things you are always the constant, someone I could reliably find getting involved and keeping the community fun and fresh.

I felt like a very reluctant fan of the first series and this season just felt a whole lot better in every regard to me.
The Chicago episode was a weak point but I didn't even hate that.

So I guess I'm all aboard for whatever happens next.

(I will admit that the Dustin/Dart arc at the beginning was way dumb but I honestly think that the movies this show riffs off of has a lot of characters doing dumb shit that people look past, so I'm kinda willing to give it a pass)

I hated Rogue One. I thought TFA was...fine.
It was fine. I already felt like I didn't need more Star Wars. And it was entirely okay at what it was doing.

So it's super weird that this trailer has me pretty stoked about TLJ. I've had faith for a while that Rian Johnson would make a better Star Wars film than TFA but this looks crazy.
I don't know what people are talking about when they say it looks like a rehash of Empire. Dark middle chapter, sure, but that's just three-act storytelling. How else did you think it would turn out? In terms of the directions this trailer hints at, it could go to some pretty rad places if it doesn't turn out to be a rope-a-dope.
