It's like he's said, though, Summer tends to be a terrible time for gaming. It's mostly all amped up from September through til February.

"Being someone that trains in MMA i have been in many fights both Physical and Verbal.

A physical fight is just as mental as a verbal fight and vis versa, thats why you feel physically drained after  verbally fighting someone.

I feel you don't know who you are till you get into a physical fight

Outside of the ring/cage i have been in 5 fights.  Mostly cause I am a layed back kind of guy.  Fighting and traing for me is not about being better then the other guy its about improving yourself.

Oddly enough all but one had my brother involded some how.."
Sounds very Tyler Durden-ish from Fight Club

"You ever been in a fight?"
"What? No, of course not."
"Damn, me either. How muchcan you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?

"When people call Yahtzee a "professional troll", I think there might be more truth in that then the man realizes. His success is entirely based on reviewing games he can tear a new one into and, as a result, it's hard to know exactly if he's being truthful or reviewing for hits.
I'd certianly like to belive he's trying to be truthful, but a guy who doesn't review online modes in console games makes me weary. The fine folks at Giant Bomb can be just as savage when reviewing a bad game, are oftentimes more insightful about where a game went wrong and what a game does right, and never take too cheap a blow at a game than the flailing rants of an Australian who too often uses curse words as punchlines."
Well, the games I've played that he's reviewed, I feel he tends to make valid points about.
And regarding online modes, I don't reallyconsider them either to be honest. A great multiplayer mode is cool, and I'll sink some hours into it, but never as many as the campaign. A bad multiplayer mode, however, can only drag a good game down, so unless I hear great acclaim for online play, I tend to avoid it altogether.

"Verbal: Yes
Physical: No. I am smart enough not to fight and talk it out. No real purpose to fighting."
Any of my physical fights (only a couple) weren't premeditated, they just sort of happened. When i was younger i was really skinny and short, leading people to believe they could push me around. I didn't let that happened and many a times I would fight back. Ironically now i am one of the tallest kids in my school and not that skinny anymore. I haven't been in a fist fight in like 5 years probably."
Same, except the only time I ever fought back was mentioned above, so I got more than enough beatings. Doesn't matter how smart you are, if a bully fixes their sights on you, you need to either fight back or take the beating.

"No. He massively inflates tiny tiny issues, purposefully looks for things to bash because he needs them to make teh funnyz, and pretty much stopped being funny for me a while ago. It really hit me with the Braid thing, he's not interested in a fair, balanced appraisal of a game, he just wants to make the funny happen any way he can, and that just doesn't do it for me. I really really hate to say this, but I think he jumped the shark. He should just stick to doing games that everyone can agree on are shitty, like Jericho and shit like that."
This point really struck me as odd, because lets face it, not many games are particularly balanced, so do they really all deserve the same unbiased approach?
The way I see it, he doesn't expect to change anybody's minds (as evidenced by his SSBB mailbox showdown, but for the most part his reviews are accurate as far as his opinion stems. He has admitted to downright loving games in the past, and it's likely if he focuses on the negative in a game, then he feels that the negative is the major piece[s] of the game.
Also check out his review for Bioshock. He mentions that it is one of his favourite games of last year, but recognises that his comedy doesn't stem from "OMG, I love this game!"
Some people really don't take in everything he says in a review, which often leads to them completely missing his point (granted it's understandable, what with him speaking very quickly but still)

And in any case, if he stuck to games that everyone thought were shitty, then there would be nobody on earth pointing out flaws in major games. I'll admit, I thought he was right about some of Braids issues, particularly with the mention of the gameplay and story being kept very far apart.

"But what does it sound like? Everyone describes the British accent, but never the American accent (standard, not midwest or southern.)"
Gargh! Nononononononono!
Trust me when I say that your perception of the British accent (be it all upper class, or completely cokney) more or less died out about 200 years ago.
Being British, I've travelled my country a bit and it is impossible to pinpoint one specific definitive British Accent. We have hundreds, and they all sound different.
Same goes for Americans. For the most part, people assume you all have a standard yankee accent, but having been to America and knowing quite a few Americans, I've found that there are so many different accents there as well that it still proves impossible to generalise, and some people just have accents that completely contrast the environment in which they're brought up in, meaning the whole idea is void because everybody is Different and by generalising you just start demeaning people who don't conform to such a standard (be it on purpose or by accident)"

We don't have hundreds of different accents here, but I know what you mean.

We have: East Coast, Midwest, Southern, and Californian. If you want to count the Alaska/Oregon/Colorado accent you can as well, but I do not know how to classify it.

One thing that I heard from a Brit over XBL was that the British do not have a hard time understanding us, which is strange because often we have trouble understanding you. Was that just him or is that a general truth?"
For the most part, I can understand any accent quite well. I just need to clarify every now and then, but for the most-er part, some people have trouble. It just depends I guess.
The only trouble I ever had with an accent was Irish, but in all fairness, I was kind of concerned that a very hungover Irishman started talking to me in the bathroom of a restaurant when I was 15...

Verbal fights: Many, but the worst was with my last girlfriend when she broke into my house whilst I was asleep and my parents were on the other side of the country...I was and still am so pissed off about that...

Physical: Quite a few. If by fights you mean me getting beaten up.
I've had my face smashed against a fence once, though the worst was when some douche broke my arm.
Though the only time I've ever won a 'fight' was when I was out with a few friends, one was a guy, one was a girl. Some female chavs (for non-Brits, see the term Dickhead) came up and started some shit. We tried to walk away and one of them grabbed my friend (the girl), turned her around and punched her in the face. My friend has never been hit before so was crying. I grabbed her, pulled her away, told my guy-friend to call the police, and when the attacker came back  to hurt my friend again, I just spun around and punched her in the face 3 times before she hit the ground.

I felt bad for it, what with it being a girl and all and honestly, this was the only time I ever fought back, but if you start on one of my friends, I don't show any fucking mercy at all.
