Oh and for the record - the best way to cook a hot dog is to slice it most of the way down the center, open it like butterfly wings and lay it flat on the grill. More room for that nice sear/grill marks

You gotta have a Rochester dog - I know it looks like Chili - but it's not, it's the hot sauce that goes on a garbage plate and it's incredible. Best served on a Zweigle's White Hot (better than a red hot) and also topped with onions and mustard.

Can you play Cuphead with 3 or 4 people?

Sorry - Cuphead's only 1 or 2 player.

I really enjoyed Iron Crypticle's 3/4 player mode. - Plays like a Mash-up of Smash TV and Gauntlet with some rougelite stuff going on. $10 on Xbox Lots of coop fun to be had.

Clusterpuck '99 is pretty fun too. Up to 8 players locally, and fun to play in coop against bots as well, or versus against each other. Like a crazy abstract take on NHL '94 type gameplay, but with hazards and weird rules and such. Also $10 on Xbox

Also - I know it's older but Crawl is a really fun 3 vs 1 coop/versus couch multiplayer game. $15 on Xbox

All 3 games are probably on other platforms too. Crawl I know is on Steam for sure, and I'd imagine it came to PS4 this year when it came to Xbox as well.

Looks like it's got a neat combat system for a JRPG

Yep! My family had a Nintendo Power subscription from like 1996-2008.

I also had a short 6 month subscription to Game Pro right around when the first Smash Bros came out on N64. As well as like 3 years of PC Gamer around when Tribes and the first The Sims game were just coming out. I remember getting lots of awesome looking PC Demo Disks with games that our crappy family PC could rarely play.

Revelations The Demon Slayer (or Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible) for GBC is a JRPG that has an entire dialog system to convince monsters to join you. Don't know if that's too retro for you or not. But it's a great game

The physics of the riding in Steep just don't feel nearly as good. I like the graphics and progression and everything else about Steep, but the feeling of riding just isn't as good as I'd hoped. Maybe I'm just spoiled by how deep Infinite Air's trick system is.

@flashflood_29: The game goes more indepth than pretty much any other snowboarding game I've played. It nails the minute feeling of shifting your weight between your back and your front feet to do butters and reverts. The 3 axis rotation system makes corks, rodeos and off axis spins feel incredible. The controls feel very deep and give you a lot of control over your rider once you get the hang of it. The only issue is the tutorial system isn't great, so you spend a lot of time with trial and error until it all clicks.

@kcin: Very much so. Take Skate and add another layer of realism on top of it. Takes a bit to get used to but once you do it's incredibly rewarding. I'd best describe this as the Dirt Rally of snowboarding games. This is from a small dev team though, and doesn't quite have the layer of polish the Skate or Dirt games have. That said, the gameplay feels incredible.

@shindig Do you mean in the air or on the ground? On the ground do a Nollie (up then down on the right stick) to jump forward and get speed when going slow. In the air, you're allowed to spin once in the air with a cat twist (push the left stick any direction) Make sure to untrain yourself from Skate and don't spin with the stick as you take off from the ramp, as this will count as your cat twist. Instead be sure you're prewinding using R+L and the right stick to setup your spins/corks/rodeos/flips before you jump.

Also, in regards to your issues turning. You have an insane amount of control with the left stick. Pushing it forward or back at all will cause the rider to start shifting weight towards the front or back, which causes reverts and butters. Make sure youre keeping the stick centered vertically as you move it left/right to get a perfect carve. Takes some time to get used to, but once it clicks the amount of rider control you have and the physics of everything feels great.
