I listened to sooo much of the franz ferdinand album, it was unhealty

Best records haven't come out yet. New Moneen, Brand New, Look Mexico, and hopefully a self released new Alkaline Trio record all coming in second half of 2009.

There hasn't been a lot of good Metal albums this year (that I can think of) but one that comes to mind is Waking Into Nightmares by Warbringer.

Oh, Hordes of Chaos by Kreator is really good too. Very intense.

I'd say for this year the best thing that has come out is St. Vincent's new album. Heck, I think it's the only good thing.

I was deeply disappointed with Yeah Yeah Yeah's new album. I really like the first two, but this one was just uninspired.

The only albums ive enjoyed so far this year are NOFX - Coaster and the new Green Day album.

Pretty bad year for music for me.

I hate modern music. There is nothing on MTV or the radio that is recent that I like.

I'm surprised no one's said my favorite album yet. Anyway, this is my top 5 list so far.

I honestly don't know where to put Incredibad. I've actually listened to it more than anything else and wayyy too much fun with it.

Also Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal is one of my favourite songs this year.

Only album I've listened to that was released this year is Black Clouds and Silver Linings [Dream Theater] and it was all right, their newer stuff hasn't really impressed me that much.

Circus Maximus is due a new album this year, so my eyes are definitely on them. That could be my album of the year if it's anywhere as good as The First Chapter.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Megadeth is also working on a new album that might be released this year, so I'll be watching them too.
