Those menus taking forever to load and Jason running into a bug where he can't shoot have pretty much put set this as a game I'll probably get in a year once all the DLC is out. Can't say I'm super impressed that they made "more Borderlands but better" and failed to make the inventory management any better at all, either. Kind of a bummer!

@brad When Shadowkeep launches they're leveling everyone's gear, both in the vault and on your character, to 750 so there's no reason to fret about being underleveled. You'll be able to just jump in and go. Basically if you want to get ready for Shadowkeep, just dismantle all your Eververse gear for the bright dust and you're pretty much set.

Kind of surprised how buggy this game has been for me. Grabbed it off gamepass and twice now in my 3 and a half hours with the game I've gotten stuck seemingly because of an infinite save bug? Once in Act 1 and now at the beginning of Act 2. The game is just permanently auto-saving and has halted me from progressing through the level completely. The first time I quit out to the main menu, the game just hard crashed upon getting to the main menu and the second time I got stuck in an infinite load trying to get to the main menu. Really wasn't expecting those kind of issues. Outside of that it sure seems like a Gears game with some pretty minor tweaks. Granted I haven't jumped into Horde or PvP or Escape yet but the Singleplayer continues to feel like I remember Gears of War feeling except now I can tell Jack to do stuff and the health icon isn't as annoying as it used to be. Glad I got this off gamepass.

EDIT: Looks like the campaign has got a handful of bugs, the infinite auto-save one being the big one. Not only does it have a chance to completely crash the game, but it also can block chunks of progress (I lost progress on every collectable up to where I was in Act 2 after a *third* crash). I'd say just hold off on playing the campaign for a bit.

Does Anthem have a Tower of Hanoi puzzle? All the good BioWare games have one, maybe that's what its missing.

So Battlefield V has a somewhat similar ping system to Apex Legends, but in a much simpler state. In BFV, you just press RB/R1 to ping a location and it will mark it on your squadmates HUD for a bit and if you hit an enemy/vehicle it marks it red instead of yellow. The ping also doesn't follow the target, just a quick indicator of where/what's going on. It's what has replaced the "spotting" mechanic from previous BF, where you'd mark a target and see them through cover and such. I'm hoping that DICE can iterate on their implementation of the mechanic and move more toward the way it works in Apex Legends for when BFV eventually gets its BR mode. Being able to ping items for teammates is such a nice streamlining of communication for a BR mode.

Blood Money is what really drove home and solidified my enjoyment of Hitman as a weird stealth murder puzzle game. Really great levels with lots of interesting kills, from giving an actor a real gun (or becoming the actor yourself!) to feeding people to alligators at a Southern wedding, to stopping the assassination of the President of the United States by killing the Vice President, there's a lot of wacky, fun stuff going on in Blood Money and its nice to see it get talked about again. Also cool that they figured out a way to get out of the really awful writing and characterizations in this game and find a better spot to put their stealth murder puzzle game.

@av_gamer: I think if Jeff had kept checking in on it, it may have come up but yeah, its a real big shame. That game is doing both F2P and live-game stuff so incredibly well its pretty insane. Probably wouldn't have won but much like Fortnite, it has come to define what it means to be a live-game to me in the past year or two.
