Don't make any plans and then you don't have to worry about anything going according to them. that's what i've done with every day of my life for the past 20 years, and it has been a cunting blast.
i don't give a shit what day of the year it is - stupid holiday that i don't celebrate or not - i have become very tired of these hacker idiots. most portions of humanity are reprehensible on nearly every level, and these people make most other look like altruistic angels.
I feel like a lot of these lists are so huge that it would mean you barely watch any giant bomb videos if at all...cause those are a huge time commitment too! You wouldn't have the time. I don't even know how you do it regardless. 30+ decent length games a year is insane. I don't think any of the bomb crew can claim to have beaten that much.
I watch GB videos while playing games. Problem solved.
AC: Unity, I guess. I didn't have huge expectations for it and was very pleased that it had no boat shit whatsoever in it, but the whole thing just felt kind of sleazy. Thief was bad, but I didn't think it wouldn't be. Watch Dogs and Destiny were mediocre but I didn't think they wouldn't be, either. ESO didn't come out on consoles, which I found disappointing, but i still hold out hope for next year. I am having a lot of fun with NHL 15 and haven't played The Crew.
I'm surprised by all the Civ: Beyond Earth folks. I have really enjoyed the heck out of that game so far.
i have called my father by his given name for quite some time. my mother died when i was young, so i don't remember if i did or not. i don't understand all the people who automatically equate calling a parent by their given name with disrespect. Seems a rather backwards thought process to me.
I really don't like to criticize things in general. And I love playing games so much that even when games come out that have very little put into them, there is a decent chance that I will play them for many, many hours and not complain very much (Ride to Hell: Retribution, I am looking at you).
There are things that bother me, though. And one of the big ones is game hype. Being someone who plays a very large amount of games (probably only slightly less than people who play games for a living), I really feel as though there are some games that get good reviews in games media when they don't deserve it. Some kind of weird hype builds up, and it frequently starts with pre-release trailers and ends with attempts to turn games into something more than they should be.
So, that rambling preamble leads me to answering the OP with these: The Walking Dead, Bastion, The Last of Us and pretty much any GTA game. Watch Dogs is also one that fits squarely in here. I fear very much now for No Man's Sky, as well.
@thiago123: at the risk or being a douche, i would ask why the ending of a subsequent game in a series would have an effect on your enjoyment of a game.
