I would have liked to join up with Roy's Boys, but alas I am a PS4 player and it seems everyone here is on the One. I'd be interested in doing a PS4 Giant Bomb Crew though if anyone's interested on that front. My username is UngratefulDead26.

Tough one. As a lot of other people have mentioned, my music taste changes often so its difficult to pin-point an absolute favorite. Even so there are a lot of bands that I've stuck with for a long time so even then its hard to narrow the list down to a reasonable size, but I'll try to limit myself to my top ten.

Wow guys, I'm beyond flattered. There were some really strong games this year, so to rank first overall is a bit flustering. Thanks everyone.

Congratulations to everyone who participated this year, everyone did some fantastic work. There were a lot of great games this year and I enjoyed getting the chance to play them and participate along side all of you this jam. Special shoutout to just a few of my favorite entries, Passes Please, CBSi E3, and E3Moji. Please never stop being awesome.

Well since everyone is posting their games I suppose I should too.

Before that though, just want to say good job to everyone that submitted a project. GameJams can be some pretty tough business, and they're just as much a test of endurance and commitment as they are creativity and ingenuity. Just seeing these through to the end is a pretty significant accomplishment, so hats off to all you other gamedev duders.

As for me, I submitted my entry two days earlier than the deadline, since I went on vacation this weekend, and used the extra time as a buffer zone for beta testing and bug fixes. I'm pretty happy with the core components and gameplay, though. and if this jam had aligned with my schedule a little better, I probably would have just used the extra time to add more weapons and costumes and stuff. Overall, had a great time participating this year, and I'm looking forward to trying out the other submissions when its not two in the morning.

Some really cool games trickling in during the last few hours here. Really impressed with everyone's stuff so far.

I did this exact thing. Tried naming a planet Batmanbatmanbatman, pressed R2 after the first batman. So now my star system has a Batman and a Batmanbatmanbatman.

I like pretty much any band Josh Homme is involved in. He's insanely talented. But Queens of the Stone Age is definitely my favorite of the bunch. Probably one of my favorite bands of all time in fact. Saw them live last summer; they are a really fun live band to see, if not for the music than for Homme's good sense of humor.

As for my favorite albums, I'd probably order them as Like Clockwork > Rated R > Era Vulgaris > SFTD > Self Titled > Lullabies to Paralyze. They're all good of course but Lullabies I think has this issue with it's first half being really good and it's second half leaving a lot to be desired. Like Clockwork is such an emotionally powerful album I can't help but love it. I Appear Missing is a brilliant song in just about every aspect.

As for all the mentions of Kyuss in this thread as well, Sky Valley is a really good album that I listen to on a regular basis, but I'm not a huge fan of their other stuff. Save maybe the split album. Fatso Forgetso is great, and all the Queens material is REALLY strong. Born to Hula and Spiders and Vinegaroons are some of my favorite songs from their early years.

Pretty sure the aliens beat him to the punch, what with the whole " killing and replacing everyone with robots that doesn't conform with our standards (hint its all of you)" thing they had going on.

It would be the sequel to Big Rigs.
