Nice to hear your insights on the retro games, don't get into any retro stuff myself as I can barely afford to keep myself in current games. Think it would work a little better if you sat in a chair (perhaps with a nice pipe and a glass of Scotch) and talked things through, as apart from the cartridge shots it's like listening to your bed. Unless you're the elephant-mans uglier brother in which case you probably are better off behind the camera.
I fought a scrubby ken with the connection from hell the other night. We're talking a full second or second and a half before the moves would come out after pressing the button. Apparently he realized his connection was total garbage so all he did the entire time was fierce shoryukens. I'm so glad I won that match, even though I had to do my moves into the future, because that was some bullshit.
Also, interesting to see how colorful and cool those famicom games are, and weird because they're like half the size of NES games.
EightBit: Yeah, tell me about it. I've had a few matches like that too!
Famicom carts are definitely colorful! The only reason NES carts are as large as they are is because of necessity thanks to the design of the original NES system. If you open them up, you'd notice a ton of empty space in an NES cart. In case you are interested, you can see a good video on this very subject here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHMkwPEuv-o
