First of all, I present you guys with a free game I can reccommend. The Suffering is currently free on filefront. Go grab it. Prepare to get scared shitless. Here's the video:
No, I am not launching a new site of my own. I have enough trouble updating sites I already run (ahem).
Anyway, I was thinking the other day while enjoying an episode of N+ DS about portable game reviews. I have visited many review sites and can't find a single one that can answer a simple question consistently, and the question is this: How long can I play your portable game at any given time without losing progress?
It's a fairly simple question that any review should be able to answer, but sadly, don't. It's a huge factor to me when buying a portable game. There's a huge difference between a save point that's 20 minutes away and a simple save option in the pause menu. I'm not going to play a game that requires me to hunt for a save point everytime I play. I usually only play my DS for about 10 minutes each time, sometimes longer, but the point is that I should be able to play for any length without losing progress.
So, if anyone knows any sites that consistently point out the portability of a game, let me know. It's something that irritates me greatly.
I have been heavy on the videoblogs lately. I recommend that you Subscribe to my Youtube to see my latest updates. But, hey! You don't want to do that? Well fine, I'll dump 'em here once in a while.
