Jade Empire is no Taito Legend

Last night, before going to bed, I felt like watching a movie and could not decide what to rent. I must have been really tired because I woke up to the Rodney Dangerfield movie "Back to School" on my 360 in HD. What a waste of points that was. Moral of the story, don't ponder what movies to rent when ridiculously tired.

I also woke up to having bought Jade Empire on Xbox Originals. The difference is that I remember doing this. Jade Empire is a game that I bought on release back in 2005,

then sold a while after. I probably put a good 12 hours into the game, but never finished it. I really like the combat in this game, and it has the dialog system from KOTOR and Mass Effect. An overlooked game in my view.

My live streaming continues. Today's game was Taito Legends 2. Oh boy. The game I couldn't stop laughing at was Bonze Adventure. It's way too funny for it's own good. It's not even intentional.

My Guitar Hero III Solution.

Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow. Hyperspeed on Medium = Win for me. I always sucked it up if it was off, but Hard mode is too hard. This is the perfect balance. This wonderful cheat will keep me playing GHIII for sure. I just wish I knew about it a long time ago. I mean, I knew it existed, but never thought to try it since everyone talking about were insanely good at the game.

Another thing I've come to realize is that the guitar is way too sensitive to star power. I don't even have to move to do it sometimes. It made the Slash Battle very frustrating. You have to stack some attacks against him in order to beat him, and it always used them instantly when battling him. I finally accomplished the victory, but it could have been a LOT less frustrating than that. Anyone else have the guitar that came with GH3 have this problem? It's my only gripe now that I know about hyperspeed.

One last thing, did anyone catch me nearly beating Double Dragon on the NES (in the live ustream player in my about me section) this morning? It was nuts.

Yes, I will occasionally be broadcasting live on Ustream. Want to watch? Just go to my about me section when I am broadcasting and it will be all good to go. I was testing it a few moments ago by playing Sonic 3D Blast on the Sega Saturn. Did anyone catch it?

Yes, the next Rings of Saturn is coming soon and we have a doozy here. This isn't going to be pretty, so hold on to your hats. It's pretty bad. Not only does it have framerate issues, but the sound is awful too.

I like that. This really is the start of something new, allowing the users to control the site. I've already edited a few things, and it's really simple and easy to do.

There is still a few bugs here and there, but nothing I can't cope with for now. It will only get better with time.

Now, one thing I'm trying to do is play more games, and buy less of them. I'm surprised to note that it's actually working. There is a certain game I want to get back into though.

Hmmm.... wonder what that could be....
