Arena of valor just hit iOS. Last numbers I heard this game was clearing 200mil+ a month in active users and it is always on top of China’s twitch competitor, Douyu.
I think a lot of you guys are misinterpreting this pres tour/pre show. It’s like you lot are trying to add reason to a wrestling promo instead of appreciating it for what it is. These guys are enjoying themselves and smiling when the other does something clever. They’re professional, and hyping the fight like professionals. Even their insults are softballs.
They waited years to implement what everyone was asking for: the ability to make your own decks with the supplied cards. Instead they produced annual set priced products and resorted to IAP only in reaction to the market and far too late. Sadly, they would've had a head start had they listened.
I believe that it's been stated that Ice Climbers were finished but there wasn't enough space on the 3ds version of the game. To keep parody they didn't put them in. I also believe they announced two unannounced characters for the release. I presume one of those two are the Ice Climbers.
