Does it give you a sense of entitlement that you get to throw resumes in the trash? Go fuck yourself, this economy is awful and some people have had a really tough time dealing with problems beyond their control. That doesn't make you someone who gets to sit high and mighty cutting down everything that comes your way. There are real people behind those resumes and they deserve a little credit.
Hey man dude is just doing a job and trying to hire someone, Not getting a powertrip.
You're like the worst hiring person ever. Is your business education from the 50's. Your country has super low 18-25 employment for a reason.
Please tell me how I can do it better.
Maybe I should take a chance on training a new flake every 6 months because their parents told them they have ADHD and they deserve better because they are a special flower?
In case you missed it, I received 20 great resumes which I will go over in more detail, there are good people out there and like I said already not every company is going to be right for you but you should be aware of how your resume can be viewed.
Would you rather have people lie? If a company wants employee retention, they should pay a competitive wage, offer benefits, and have a great work place. Younger people jump from shit job to shit job because they have no other option. Shit companies like yours would rather hire desperate old people who will take any job (and age does not mean they are good in any capacity) then someone who is younger, more educated and trying to find a career, not a job. It's despicable, really.
You are making a lot of assumptions here, we do have benefits, $14 is competitive for the position, almost everyone working here has been here for more than 5 years, this position is a new job that we created for someone.
I think you are way off base.
$14 is not competitive. Adjusting for cost of living. $14 is what minimum wage should be in lower cost of living states.
As a very small business owner I can assure you if min wage went to 14 an hour here (Ontario) I would be unable to hire any staff. I would be forced to raise up prices for everything to be able to pay people.....
aaaaand If min wage went to $14 an hour (in ontario) I would be back on minimum wage! (currently it's $10.25 and I'm making $13.67 right now)
Note:started working when I was 18 and it was $6.75?
@lumley: I believe the Rumble is the main event and is always at the end. IIRC there were some times there was a title match after, but it's usually the end of the show.
Most likely it will be the second last match then followed by Orton vs Cena.
