Does anyone know what Brad meant when he mentioned that there would be more Extra Life for him?
I didn't catch him in chat during Dave's stream
I assume he's doing a solo stream. Or did I hear that wrong?
That's what I am hoping for but I didn't know if he meant that or if he was going to join in on Gamespot's stream or something. Only have listened 15 mins in the podcast.
For the current members who renew their membership through these sales, do you duders not frequently buy items from the GB store? Because this sale is savings of $15 from the normal price, but it doesn't come with a $15 GB store promo credit. And it seems that every year GB releases new members T-shirts that cost $15.
So for me, since I always buy the T shirts, this sale isn't worth it to me.
@moonwalksa: But as has been pointed out, to just "keep it rolling" in this instance would mean that the stream would've been unwatchable since the audio issues were breaking the stream. Rorie keeping bringing those up and going to the engineers with the issues literally saved the stream for those watching live. Seems like a weird instance to "take a stand" since he did the right thing here.
As for your other points you have to remember that his job on UPF is to keep up with the chat more than anything else.
This. @rorie is great and not sure why everyone gets on his case when he makes everyone's experience with GB better.
to everyone saying "geeeee why aren't you guys upset when Jeff insults bands??" that's because Jeff is insulting shitty modern bands that NO ONE has ever heard of, that make objectively bad music for kids. Dan is, like an asshole, insulting classic albums made by classic bands which defined the youth of a large portion of the GB community. it's fucking absurd. fuck dan.
You do realize your comment reads like:
Jeff is insulting bands I don't like that make music I don't think is good for kids. Dan is insulting albums I like made by bands I like.
I don't get the great concern over a missing gun..? I mean yeah it's not a good thing, but Vinny kept going on about it like it was the worst thing ever, even worse than forest fires or gerrymandering.
Well, I mean usually when a gun is missing, that means someone took it. And usually when someone steals a gun, they have bad intentions like shooting someone.
From my personal experience, I don't think gun owners forget or misplace a gun. Though that step-dad did seem to have issues...
