@FLStyle: Yeah, I played as the Orlesian Warden in Awakening, and I think that was just regarded as a "blank slate". I could've transferred my sacrificed Warden, but I wanted his death to stay permanent along with his choices, and didn't have that option.
I suppose I'll just transfer my Awakening save for my Orlesian Warden (if that's an option) and come up with some kind of rationalization for why Alistair became king and etc. in my head. Anora was forced off the throne or something, I told myself, lol.
My character sacrificed himself, and I didn't force Alistair to take the throne he didn't want. When I played Awakening, Alistair was king and Oghren didn't seem to recognize Wynne. Apparently my ending didn't import to the expansion pack, maybe because I "died" at the end?
So I don't expect my choices to transfer to the sequel, either. Which really pisses me off. If they make any kind of difference, I'll probably replay DA1 and make a choice I don't want just so my save goes through.
Did anyone sacrifice themselves and have their ending transfer to new content?
Man, all of you who rationalize how it's women who are the reason you're virgins, that they don't want what you want are kinda sad. There are college girls that want relationships, a lot of girls don't want to go through bullshit games either... you guys are just not what they want and are looking for a way to justify it without asking some hard questions of yourselves.
@septim: People are assuming it will work like an iPod Touch or iPad, in that you can browse the internet, use GPS, etc. So for the millions of people who already have those devices, it's a complete waste of money.
" @Jeust: Oh, it's a terrible move--but it's one I have no doubt Sony will make. They've all but said they want to launch this with some kind of profit margin on hardware, so there's no way it'll be near the price of a 3DS, which I thought was high already. "
Uh what? They've already gone on the record as saying they'll be selling it at a loss. Check your facts. "
However, Sony's not going to be giving the things away; House also shot down a Eurogamer source who claimed Sony would be selling the device at a loss. House explained, "we would want to have our hardware be profitable, in addition to our software," later adding, "We've experienced both sides and we know which one we like to be on!"

Yeah, but Sony is probably doing "clever marketing" and including the iPad as a "handheld".
There's no way this is cheaper than a PS3 at launch. They'll launch at a price closer to an iPad and claim that as its main (pricing) competitor. Also, historically there have been handhelds (all failures), that were around the $400 mark.
They confirmed it won't be $599. Between $300 and $500 is a given.
" Not bad Sony, now just announce the price to be at $250 or lower and you're set. Then again, they might just announce it at $300 and try to justify it because of the tech. "
You're insane if you think this will launch at anything lower than $300. That's the bare minimum, I think.
It sounds like they just threw in a bunch of shit without knowing why or what to do with it. What the hell is the deal with the touchpad on the back?
