I got to agree, this is one that I figured out really early on. I think it's the 2nd or 3rd case one of the bartenders mentions a bar temp called for a cab for one of the victims and that he would know more about the case, this is only like a case or two after you talk to a bar temp for a previous case, the next few murders all take place after women were out drinking. I though it became painfully obvious pretty early in this one.
I figured this out and that SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content. pretty early on after the first hint towards it and that bothered me

Conspiracy Theory Idea:
It's not a review though, simply slapping a review label on something doesn't make it one. Besides that is something to take up with the Youtube TOS people, all they need to really see is the use of copyrighted footage and they'll yank a video no matter what. That's not to say that's how IP's work legally, or even satires for that matter, but that's how Youtube works.@WVUEers said:
That isn't how intellectual copyright works, if that were true then there would be no bad reviews on any site, period. Also you yourself said it was a joke, so I fail to see how they're professional journalists. Not to mention he didn't force them to remove their review, just the video that uses his game footage. He's not silencing their voice or whatever martyrdom you want to play out, he's just stopping them from using his own IP, they could repost the review multiple ways. Seriously this is not the grave injustice you're spinning it to be.
Maybe you don't understand how big of a deal this is.Maybe I have to take it all the way up to heading level 3.
Maybe he just doesn't find their particular brand of humor funny or respectable, it is in fact his work after all which inclines him to dictate how people use footage from said work. To be honest his reaction might be juvenile (I find it kind of understandable, try telling someone to have a sense of humor about something they've worked their ass off on for years) but your reaction is more so juvenile. All parties involved just like sad, lonely, souls.
Considering the fact that new iterations of established sports series hardly every innovate at all and are simply content with updating rosters, I don't really see the point. This year they improved the normal mapping and specular mapping on the football! Wow! /yawnThis argument could made for tons of games though that aren't even sports related. I mean Guitar Hero/Rock Band? Every FPS sequel ever? Besides simply because they look review NHL 11 doesn't mean they must look at NHL12. I think it probably only calls for persistent updates when genre defining changes take place, ie. NBA 2K11, Madden 05, etc. Even if they wanted to look at it every year it's not that big of a yawn fest, they practically cover every WWE SvR release and that is roster/re-paint the max.
Is this not a video game coverage site though? Seems pretty narrow minded to not cover an entire genre because you don't like it, that'd be like film critics not seeing romantic comedies because they don't like them, it still pertains to the job at hand. Not to mention I don't see how their lack of knowledge of players/sports is relevant, they go into quick looks of tons of games that are existing franchises completely blind as to the fiction involved when it's assumed most fans will know, that hardly seems to harm their coverage.
Also Virtua Tennis was boring because Virtua Tennis is boring (Ryan didn't exactly bring his A game in enthusiasm as well), that's not indicative of an entire genre though. I'm not really asking for a crazy amount of coverage but as it stands crazy ass PC games receive more attention.
I know that stereotypically sports gamers are viewed by (the ironically self-stereotype fulfilling) hardcore gamers as just being "Bro's interested in pounding some Natty light". But to be quite honest the sports gaming market is pretty damn diverse, it's sales obviously make up for a heavy portion of game related sales which by sheer logic would imply most gamers are in some ways "a sports gamer". I personally have long been kind of turned off by Giant bomb's inadequate coverage of what really is this large sect of the gaming industry, journalistically I also find it somewhat bothersome. On occasion we do get thrown a bone (see Virtua Tennis 4) but usually this comes in a slow gaming week and it seldom is more then that of quick look. I understand the staff are perhaps not sports buffs and hence their apprehension in fully covering topics they are not kept up to speed on, but when you look at the various other franchises they cover where they are not aware of the back stories aside from a brief Wiki over view then I feel as though their argument there falls apart. The second issue I'm sure will be raised is that the staff simply has no interest in those games, which is where I kind of would have to question the motives of the site then. If the staff's disinterest in sports is so severe then they should hire someone who has an interest and knowledge on the subject to write and review for them. I understand logistically the site is unable to even review/cover some mainstream games but they do seem to put a stronger effort towards those at least. Last year NBA 2K11 was released, by all account the game was one of the best sports games to date, it was a complete new direction in the series and on a lot of critics GOTY list, and yet it was never mentioned on the site.
A bench warrant will be issued. Basically no one is coming to arrest you, however should you be arrested or even pulled over for something else they can detain you for missing your court date. Really the best idea is just call them up, explain the situation and find out the next logical step, forcing the court to twist your arm to get you do things never helps. It looks a lot more kindly upon your case if you tell them "I forgot", or something else that simply looks irresponsible rather then you just didn't care which looks disrespectful.
I still play NHL 09 daily, not online but I've been meaning to get around to it. I own All the NCAA games with the exception of this year, I don't really return to play the old ones online because it's already near impossible to find someone online to play.
" @MSTRSYSTM said:I don't think of it as them being assholes, it's more a of a quality assurance thing. You flood the market with a highly anticipated game before it ships you risk a lot of things. I'm sure R* would prefer no one gets the game prior to the release dates but they understand they must make some compromises in exchange for buzz about the game. It's not a dick tactic, nor do I think is it any major gripe with GB or it's system, I think it's simply trying to get the biggest splash with out releasing many copies, the only way to achieve the desired effect is to strictly release it to the publications that get the most viewers/readers. I sincerely doubt anything other than the number of readers came into how they distributed their review copies. This is R* they're afforded the same type of leeway with this stuff and trying to prevent spoilers as companies like Infinity Ward were, I don't think anyone in the industry takes it personal." Wow, why wouldn't Rockstar/Take-Two give them a review copy? "Because they're assholes. Apparently Rockstar was being really picky. "
