It's the blatantness of just lifting PUBG and dropping it into your own product, it just leaves a bad taste. Esp when that product was and is a clusterfort without the lift. On the other hand, ascribing romanticised feelings to video game products over inspiration and ownership of design mechanics is dumb, let the market decide.
Also that PUBG licensed their engine, and they turned around and put PUBG in their game for free. They are well within their rights to do so but it just looks bad.
Yeah, I played it with my kids once and it's fine I guess.
I just couldn't believe how much of an exact copy it is, like EXACT. It just feels weird playing it, knowing they're being scumbags. I can't get down with this game and their lame business practices.
I dunno man, that sweet potatoes are fucking great.
Get your life straight.
Sweet potatoes are awful and you should feel bad for liking them and defending them.
I was about to say, "I'm sorry a sweet potato murdered your family", but then I reconsidered. If a walking, talking sweet potato DID murder your family, you absolutely deserved it.
You monster.
Sweet potatoes don't murder, they nutritious and delicious!
Wait she is a comedian? Has she done any stand up? What qualifies one to be a comedian can you just declare yourself a comedian?
A comedian or comic is a person who seeks to entertain an audience by making them laugh. This might be through jokes or amusing situations or acting foolish or employing prop comedy. Wikipedia
This reads like Battlefront1, from 2015, but with the worst parts (progression and customization) made even worse, didn't even think that'd be possible!
I'm still salty over buying that first game, didn't even play 10 hours of that, probably one of the worst gaming missbuys I've had in recent years.
Man, this is exactly my reaction/feeling. I felt absolutely fucking ripped off buying that first game.
I don't know that I've ever felt so blatantly fleeced in my life.
I rarely buy games day 1, because they all go on sale like 2 weeks later. But the insane visuals just suckered me in when I played the demo.
I swore I wouldn't buy the next one, no matter what they said, and I stuck to my guns.
I felt the same about Destiny 1. I got that game for free and just couldn't believe people paid $60 for that. Same reason I didn't touch Destiny 2.
All this does it drive me further and further away from day 1 gaming purchases and it makes me sad.
@xeirus: Seemed pretty clear from my post that maybe I just don't like him as an entertainer. Apologies if that wasn't apparent. As a person he seems like a dude I'd probably get along with in real life though I've never met him so who knows.
Dan is responsible for almost every new feature that has come in the past 2-3 years. I think he's an excellent entertainer and gave this site the energy it desperately needed after Ryan passed away.
This site should be kissing Dan's ass for bringing all his ideas and energy.
