Someday I'm just gonna go to your profile and look at all these threads you made, for games that I should play. They are seriously awesome.

Just an idea to help share the music of local bands in your area! 
 
What are some of your favorites from where you live?  
 
I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and there are two local bands that I want to share. I WOULD post a link to a song from them, but I'm staying in the country at my parents place right now where they only have dial up :(.  
 
1. The Museum Pieces. This band is really folky and their singer has a really weird thing going on with his lower range. Weird, but awesome. I highly reccommend a listen to these songs:

"We Search for Arrowheads" 
"Avalon Sank" (Beautiful piece) 
 
2. Wintersleep. A band that plays a lot around Halifax, they have come to be known as having a really sad guitar, some pretty messed up riffs and dreamy vocals. I've seen them livea few times and let me tell you... amazing. Reccommendations: 
 
"Nerves Normal, Breath Normal" (LISTEN, NOW.) 
"Weighty Ghost" 
"Miasmal Smoke and the Yellow Bellied Beast"

I have a tradition that I use for reading manuals, ever since I was a kid.  
 
If I'm on the way home from driving somewhere, I will open the game up and read the manual in it's entirety. If i'm the driver, I will get in the car and then do this after buying, before driving. If I'm being driven, I just read while we're on the way home.  
 
If I'm walking home, I open it up and breifly skim while walking, looking at the pictures and whatnot. Then when I get home I do the next step.
 
If I got the game as a gift or just got it close to home, I go home, put the game in, and watch the opening cinematic/wait at the title screen while I read the manual. I have done this ever since the days of old... Ahhh, WeaponLord.

What I should have said in my post is that, If I managed to recieve gifts AND go to the beach AND hang out with my teacher-friend during lunch in the cafeteria, and HE didn't get fired, I think you'll be safe for adding them to XBL. If you're really that concerned, don't play online games with them. The most they can do is see your achievements and see what you're currently playing. Then you can talk about it at school. How is that bad? How will that get you fired?
