@YukoAsho: I will never get thinking like this. It does not matter how long the DS took to get popular or whatever because that was a different time in the industry with different variables so if they really run their business solely on the trends of previous cycles and not on paying attention to the massive new threat in front of them (Apple) then they're boned.
The DS launched against the PSP which was only a good competitor in a spec sheet race while the iOS family of devices is selling like its the sell-pocalypse and beats it in every spec outside of having a control pad. They should have priced and scheduled game releases to fight the actual uphill battle they're in for.
If they are serious about holding Metroid Fusion hostage to this ambassador's club bullshit people are going pirate it like mad. I really hope they rethink that last part.
That British guy was mental! I didn't catch his name ,but his ipad lovefest seemed so ill informed. For the record the "one device that can do everything" is called the fucking computer. It's the big thing (unless it's a netbook) that tells the ipad how to work, loads it with content and if you so happen to go to facebook on your ipad (which he claims gives ipad the gaming edge) I wonder how it will access any of the flash games that the site relies on.
Perhaps he was saying the quizzes on facebook count as games and those somehow put the ipad above the 3DS? The whole exchange with Ryan was ridiculous, I mean seriously if both have the same sensors (accelerometers and gyroscopes) ,but the 3ds has a joypad ,analog and buttons on top of that how the fuck does the ipad out-game it?
