"When I think about what I'm looking for in media, it's justifiable incest."

and

"Darker than me saying doing fake 9/11's on my computer is the thing that brings me joy and relaxation?"

Holy shit. Incredible quotes by Jeff G. Banger day 1 already and I'm not even halfway through it yet.

Hey, is everyone at Slightly Mad Studios ok? Because between this and Project Cars 3, I don't know if there's a cry for help going on over there.

@shadow987: You said originally that you didn't want to hear politics in your video game podcast. Fine. But when they literally spend 70-80% of the podcast talking about video games and its related content, your claim doesn't make any sense. Then you turn around and act like an "outrage crew" got mad at you. No. No one got mad. It was, what, four or five replies? And all they did was point out that what you said wasn't factual -- remember, this is the same podcast that once reviewed energy drinks, talks about wrestling, and goes on many long non-video game related tangents regularly. Then you decided to make yourself a victim and claim you're actually not at all mad for being told what you said was silly and incorrect.

Say what you will about the state of boxing in 2018 -- The Knockout Kings/Fight Night games are some of my favorite games I played growing up. I even played the career mode in Fight Night Round 4 a couple of times through within the past 6 months. There's just something about the weight of the punches in that game when you really connect that make it feel so good.

Instead of harping on the negative parts of WWE, I’m going to once again mention the Ciampa/Gargano match because that’s probably the best match WWE has had from a pure storytelling standpoint in a VERY, VERY long time. The combination of storytelling and wrestling in that match was incredible, and might already be the best match (WWE wise) of the year.

I want to laugh at Dan for his stupid Alexa questions but then I remembered just the other day that I asked Alexa to play John Cena's entire rap album for me.

This podcast gave me an extended peak into Dan's mind and I'm gleefully horrified by all of it.

I could not stop smiling while watching this. I feel like this is a game I needed this year.

FINE, NINTENDO! I'll buy a Switch! Jeez.

Also wanted to chime in and say that I, too, have dark brown hair with a beard that's lighter brown/slightly red. Genetics are weird, y'all!

Condolences to Jeff, Ben, Brad and everyone out west. As someone who just went through a hurricane a month ago in South Florida after not having to go through one in over 10 years, having supplies in the event of power outage is a way of life. Good things to have for an emergency are things like battery-powered radios, batteries (of every type), non-perishable goods, a NOAA weather radio (for hurricanes and weather related emergencies), a battery-powered fan, a cooler, and a ton of water, among other things. It's always good to check on your supplies once or twice a year to make sure they still work! I neglected to do that this year and it bit me in the ass by finding out the day before it going to hit that my battery-operated portable TV/radio didn't work because of connection issues due to corrosion. It was a real bummer. Thankfully, I had a couple of tiny AM/FM radios from like 2005 that took double-A batteries and worked without any issue.

I know it's easy to think our phones and computers can do everything but I could not get a connection on my smartphone for two or three days after the hurricane. I had to rely on an AM/FM radio for my information for about 2 or 3 days.

It never hurts to buy a battery-operated radio and a bunch of batteries just in case!
