I felt the exact opposite. It reaffirmed I made a good decision to sell my XB1.

Gears 4 looked like a snooze. Gears 1 ultimate being on PC as well means I don't need it now. No new IP's for my game tastes, and the other IP's I do want to see more of were not there.

Sony on the other hand just kept shelling out game after game after game, and more content for third parties I won't get on other platforms. Uncharted 4, Horizon, Last Guardian, Shenmue 3, Street Fighter 5, and the list goes on and on.

Nintendo sucked the hardest imo. Aside from Smash DLC...yeah. Weak.

I lucked out. I wanted a lot of things, but they didn't hit reasonable price points.

All I got was King of Fighters XIII Steam Edition.

I really wanted Divinity Original Sin to be like $15.00 or less, but meh.

Went back to look and caved in on Xcom Complete Edition. That should hold me over until SF5 beta. Hope it's a good SP romp! :)

There's a lot of good ideas here.

I too would love to see 1 frame links, become 3 frame for everything. Combofiend said 1f links are still there, but "easier" to do...which sounds confusing as hell. A 1F link can't be easy unless you mean I can now mash and it will take the input if it was done in that 1F time even though I slapped it 20 times before and after.

Online netcode being ace is critical. I hope the beta next month will go down to help get us closer to Killer Instinct quality, if not better.

I feel the game does need more in a variety of ways and to not wait for DLC to do it. The simplest of which is to give each character at least 2 Critical Arts to pick from, and then you can add the third as DLC a year after release for the entire cast or something. It adds the right layer of depth without complexity. Hell I'd even go so far as to give each character more than one V-Skill. Parry for Ryu is a great one, but Cammy's Spin Knuckle for example is more for situation based match ups. If she had a choice for something else perhaps it could again, add depth to the game, without over doing complexity.

I'll probably be the odd man out and say my favorite SP content has come from The Order 1886. It's not perfect(no game truly is), but it was exactly what I was craving from an AAA title in this sea of "open world this, 500+ hours that" we are bombarded with. It's a quick but fantastic ride from start to finish, and I could go on and on about what I loved in this new franchise. I hope we get a sequel for Galahad, and I hope it includes multiplayer. This is the blueprints to something great. It reminds of how Uncharted 1 was "good" but could be so much more, then we got Uncharted 2.

My second place goes to Mortal Kombat X. Fantastic and the improvements have helped since launch. Farmer Jax <3

Did folks get to check out the two tournaments yesterday? I won't list the winners, but players like Li Joe, Clockwork, and Gootecks were all competing to win a PS4 on the stage. Some extremely hype matches.

Also, I really hope we get more characters for the beta. I want to see Alex or Urien return. Right now I'm leaning towards the Bipson pressure. J wong made him look too sick!

Is this the thread to talk about SF5? Or is there a separate thread for that hype train? Search wasn't finding a thing. :(

 
This is the weirdest thing to come from Brad in a long time. You're basically telling people when you pick a #1 on your list, that if they HAD to only play one game out of those 10 this entire year that it should be RDR. That RDR is the game that drew you in the most and provided you with the most fun. That RDR is the game people will be talking about years from now. 
 
Were you just trying to be a wild card for the sake of it? I don't believe for a damn second you think RDR was a better game for you than SC2, and I seriously doubt you do either.

This could work really well if it's similar to Uncharted multiplayer if u ask me. 
 
Really though Tomb Raider is on a last breath if you ask me. If this reboot can't nail it, Lara will become the new Sonic.

I love watching Brad play Starcraft 2. He should open up a youtube acct and upload matches where him and like Jeff commentate on them...or they could do 1 weekly game where he does it Live and it gets recorded on here.
