StreetWhores5 : a historical life game in which you play as a street whore in the 1800's, or something like that.... sold: a little over 30 million copies.
"On which of the following do Adults in America spend the most amount of money annually: 1. Gambling? 2. Movies? 3. Video Games?"
That was a question asked on "Million Dollar Money Drop". The object of the game, as far as I can tell, is to divvy up your money on three areas marked according to the answers. The wrong answer boxes will open up and your possible winnings will disappear.
I flipped to this marvel of television program (on Fox, where else) as our lovely two contestants--what appeared to be a guy longing for his high-school football glory days and his blonde trophy wife--contemplated the answer to this question.
The host (Kevin Pollock) asked them if they ever played video games. "No." And indeed, they wagered no money on Video Games. The correct answer, according to our friends at FOX, was "1. Gambling."
My Question is: Is this true? I wonder what Video Games stands for. Did they include subscription fees to WoW and the like? What about Zynga and facebook games? Is gambling really a bigger money flow than video games?
" Since the Kinect can detect more than one body at a time, they should have a kama sutra "game", that guides you and your partner as you attempt it (because, seriously, half those positions look hard as fuck and are even harder to pull off . . . and are usually not any more fun than just bangin' it out old school over the kitchen table). "
mind you, i want that game. more importantly, i want it to assign a score on just how well I did, and how well I followed the position, if only so that i can say "baby, i think we can beat that score. let's go again."
@nick_verissimo: hahah, true. but the way I am imagining it is not necessarily something that just teaches you the various sex positions, but also that incorporates them into an actual game--like, you actually get judged on how well you perform whatever position you are on. So you'd be in bed getting down to the usual business and kinect, given that it can read your body position (though i guess with two players..not as well), is representing the act on the tv screen and giving you a percentage score of how accurate you are to the position.
