So the blockbuster on the corner is finally goin out of business and I went to check out some games. Most of them were gone but I saw prototype for 10 bucks. I know the 2nd one is comin out soon and I heard the first was at least decent, just wondering if I should buy it for the price above?

I'd say go for it, thats pretty cheap.

From what I hear though, it has a ton of repetition in the missions, but the game makes you feel like a badass.

    I paid $60.00 for it. I would say it's worth around $3.00.

If you haven't played it before it's definitely worth it. Although it's somewhat dated at this point, it's a very satisfying gameplay focused open-world game. Just bought it myself (for quite abit more, but different national prices etc..) after stumbling over some videos that reminded me about how fun it was the first time I played it. It's by no means a blockbuster, but if you just wanna dash/fly around New York, collect a bunch of orbs, beat the crap out of zombie/army hordes with nasty mutated arms and generally cause mayhem it's great.

If you loved The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction then you'll like Prototype.  I paid $20 and felt like it was worth it.   It isn't without flaws and frustration but I think the good out weighs the bad.

The price of some fast food? Yeah sure. It's not terrible or anything just not... mindblowing.

Yeah. I paid $60 for it and it wasn't worth it, but it was a pretty good game. Definitely worth $10.
