Weird bug. i got the 360 version for controler preference reasons, so hopefully there wont be any similar issue with installing it to the HDD (since its a different process than the ps3)

Weird.  I just installed it an hour ago and didn't have a problem.  Unfortunate for those that do though.

My cousin is having the same problem right now.

There was a similar problem with the R&C game i think, I never experienced it, but my friends have. Sounds really annoying.
And i dont think it's a "game crippling" bug, just an inconvenience.

No problem for me. Installation was fine on my 60gb PS3.

Mine installed fine but I ran into a bug in one mission where I was supposed to kill X number of guys and they didn't spawn. The red marker indicating enemies was there and pointing straight down into the ground, like they spawned with incorrect height and wound up underground. Restarted it and it worked, then tried for gold and got the bug again. Yikes.
