    Overview

Psy-O-Blade is an adventure game developed and published by T&E Soft, Inc. for FM-7, MSX, NEC PC-8801, NEC PC-9801, and Sharp X1. The Sega Mega Drive version of the game was published by Sigma Enterprises with the porting work being done by Graphic Research Co., Ltd.

The plot concerns Keith McDonnell, a young crewmember of the Septemius 2. His ship was sent out to investigate the whereabouts of Septemius 1, which suddenly ceased communications after passing several light years beyond the Solar System. This future version of the world is based on the idea that the Cold War never ended, with a separate third major world power emerging to compete with the free world and communist bloc of the 20th century.

The Mega Drive version of the game saw an English fan translation in 2015 by Eien Ni Hen.
