What are these exactly?
user-created levels for the game you can play. scan them with your 3DS and you're one click away from playing that level.
check out the game on youtube if you're still confused :)
That is so awesome.

Exactly!
Awesome little ideas like this don't get enough attention, sadly.
Here's a bunch more, not mine: http://i.imgur.com/HBWvF.jpg
These are all awesome, great thread! I'm so addicted to this game.
One thing that's cool about the way the level creation works is that you can just draw something and make yourself a new challenge! A lot of times when you are creating content in other games, you're so aware of how it works and making sure that everything is pieced together correctly that it's not really new to you.

I can't seem to get any of these to work... Is there higher resolution versions of these anywhere? ... Maybe I'm just doin' it wrong?

You're my hero for making this. Do you plan on making any more Scott Pilgrim ones?
Geez, I'm starting to run out of ideas at this point. This is my first time working with pixel art and I'm starting to appreciate some of its inherent difficulties. For instance I'd like to do another puzzle like the Mona Lisa one, however it's hard to find an iconic image that is still recognizable after it's shrunk down to 32x32 pixels with 10 available colors. In any case this game came out of nowhere and is definitely one of my favorite portable titles of the year.
^No need to wear yourself out over it, you've done a lot already. Also, I agree. I almost keep forgetting that it was a download-only game. The quality of the game is great, and it never stops being enjoyable (until 3-11 and 3-17... Screw those two puzzles).
As someone who's only beaten the first group of levels past the tutorial, these look terrifying (and awesome.) Loving the game, though. It scratches the same puzzle itch that Picross 3D did.

What confused me, I couldn't scan some of these because it said I "need more experience before I can play these levels". Does that mean I have to advance in the singleplayer to more complex levels before I can play equally complex ones made by users?
Yeah, you need to beat challenge... 109? I think that's right. Something like that.
Then you'll get a message that says your studio has been upgraded, or something to that effect.

Okay, thanks. Now I got something to do while listening to the rest of the Bombcast :)
Giant Bomb Exclusive! :)
It got only 1-star on the complication scale but I think this one is quite tricky.
Hint: just because it's there doesn't mean you have to use it!
This is also the first time I made something in a game with an editor that is actually fun to play. :)
edit: I edited the difficulty rating to four stars, sounds more appropriate
Ooh nice, Luchadeer!
I tried to make a level out of Alex' review avatar but I'm struggling with it. The Dave level was easier because it had more clearly defined shapes. Initially I wanted to make a level out of everybody's avatar but they don't look good as pixel art (when I'm making it, at least). I'll try to finish the Alex level, though.
Anybody wanna give the GB and/or Tested logo a shot?
I've had some help when getting the details of these levels, but I did do the manholes and the flag placement myself. Hope ya'll enjoy!
Jewel is my very first level made, and it's very easy. Bowser isn't perfect, but the level itself is actually pretty challenging and fun! Gil, from Ufouria: The Saga, is easy and all the pixels are perfect!

You actually rate the difficulty yourself on the level creator.
Here is a pirate ship that I made today! Does it look familiar to anyone? It's from Shantae! I know the colors are off, and it's not perfect... but whatever. It's really neat to play.
I made Klonoa! The colors again are not perfect. I have to say though... this is one tough and very fun level! I think this is the best one I made so far. Enjoy!
If anyone liked any of the levels I made, let me know! Let me know which level you liked as well!

That's great. Will have to get that one for sure.
