Robert's crude yet admirable attempt at imitating a Robot isn't hugely convincing. He continuously attempts to sound like a robot, making peculiar beeping noises on request.

Robert's name is similar to R-108, almost to imply he is a prequel to that machine, but its true meaning is unknown.

The costume he wears consists of cardboard boxes full of primitive drawings of circuitry scrawled everywhere.

He fights in the Machine Wars, though his role is unknown. He appears in both Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters: Future Perfect.

Trivia

  • His selection gesture is a reference to the 1978 song "The Robots" by Kraftwerk, which features the translated line "I'm your worker, I'm your servant".
  • His voiceover on Timesplitters 2 sounds incredibly similar to C3P0 in Star Wars. This could possibly show he's convinced he's a robot, and completely in denial of his human side.
