I always try to be good, then end up getting bored and doing whatever i want.. We'll see if being good is fun I'll probably do that.

Red Dead Redemption is the spiritual successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver, featuring a vibrant, open world set in the decline of the American Wild West. Players take on the role of former outlaw John Marston, who is forced to hunt down his former gang to regain his family.
Will you play as a Good or Bad guy?
Unlike most people here, I plan as playing as a rational, sane human. I'll be an opportunist with a strong moral code.
@TheFreeMan:
Me as well: With a poncho, a pistol, & a no-bullshit attitude.
"... You see, my horse don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him..."
I try and play how I would play if I was that character in that situation in real life. Obviously I have never been a cowboy, so my decisions won't be 100% accurate.
I always play the good character first and on my second play through I will play a bad guy. In free roam though with my buddies there is no telling what is going to happen.
I'm going to play it like I'm Doc Holiday. Siddle into town, hit the casinos, clean them out and get drunk, and god help anyone who stands in my way
Probably both as that is what makes games with the option fun but first I have to play through it as a bad guy. The wild west was meant to be bad.
I figure I'll play it 'neutral'. As in, I'll play it off instinct. That way, I don't feel like I've ever truly fucked up by doing things the 'wrong' way (Good while playing bad, bad while playing good). It's the wild west, that's how it's meant to be played, really. It's a time where a man has to do what he has to do to get the job done. You can't base your decisions solely on morality, but at the same time you can't give up what makes you human. Sure, it's a time of black and white, but it's also a time of great lawless opportunity. Only thing I dislike about RDR from what I've heard, though, is the time period. I hope the next in the series goes back to the routes of the western tale, and tells a true wild west story, rather than an American 'coming of age' story.
Yeah, I have trouble playing as a bad guy, even if I've already beaten the game as a good guy. I know it's a game, but even so I just don't like tearing through innocents.
I might trace it back to when GTA 3: Vice City came out back in college and a douche bag from down the hall kept coming to my room and playing my copy. All he would do is put on tank mode and god mode and just blow people away while eating goldfish crackers. It really started to disturbed me how much joy he got out of doing that. I finally took away my disc and told him to burn in hell.
He now works for the Republican Party of Minnesota... I guess I got my wish.
