re4 is an amazing action adventure from capcom. its got fantastic detailed graphics, good controls, engaging gameplay and a compelling storyline. its a very beautiful game brimming with gun playaction and unprecedented visually appealing cinematic sequences, which really pulls you in to the story. its got slightly more smooth controls than in previous resident evil games. and ammo and general items are far more plentiful, the souindtrack is more dramatic for the most time and there are loads of npc enemies, and with all this it makes it a more action oriented adventure rather than a spooky, creepy survival game seen in previous titles. there is a progressive upgrade features among the guns and other weapons in the game, where you can level up your chosen weapons with the action of spending currency. however there is a few bugs in the game, like half you characters body submerges with some particular walls, doors etc. and there is the ashley factor she is frustrating at best, getting in the way of your about to fired gun. but i suppose you dont actually spend that much time with her so thats good. the controls are still quite slow and robotic like. there is the mercenaries after completion of the story mode, its timed mini game of survival. you have to survive a set time against enemies and there is about 4 maps, and its about 30 minute learning curve. but after a while you do get bored with it cause it is a single player game, no online mode or lan. and you do get some powerful guns when you complete some mini side games and you can play through the story mode again with them formidable and potent weapons, but cause there so powerful the fun factor sorts of runs dry after a few play throughs. i love the fact that the 3 main levels in the game, the village, castle, and the finally the island. they are all quite dark and morbid but capcom manages to make them beautiful and compelling. its a great game and definately a must buy for me.

I never got a chance to play Resident Evil 4 on my Game Cube before I sold it, so when I was walking through a Half-Priced Books Store I was presently surprised to see Resident Evil 4 had made it to the PC. After hearing all the praise this game had got, and my current craving to crap bricks, I bought the game. You start off playing as Leon who is sent into a creepy forest, to find the President’s daughter (Ashley) who had been kidnapped. soon finds that Ashley has been abducted by a bunch of ...

Resident Evil IV puts you back into the shoes of Leon "Don't shoot, I'm a human!" Kennedy and sweeps you off to Spain for a seriously nasty trip. Many times throughout this 20-25 hour adventure you'll be up against hordes of enemies, interactive life or death cutscenes, and hassle-free puzzles. So, you're probably thinking, "Damn, another Resident Evil game... it will have save rooms with boxes, limited carrying capacity, and final boss that has 3 forms and says "...stars..." over and over agai...
