I hope it's still in the game and that they build it ready for DLC from the ground up. It'd suck if it was like last time where you couldn't play with DLC characters and original characters in the same game.

It's practically a staple at this point so I'd be surprised if they didn't include some unlockable variation, if not some classic ass (RE4) Mercenaries.

Yeh, it's become my favourite part of the series. DO expect a ton of DLC for this game though.

Probably because it's a AAA video-game being released in 2012. It's already decided: countless iotas of DLC inbound.

Also hoping for co-op. RE5 mercs with my sister was the most fun I've ever had split screen, and I played Goldeneye in college. We SS ranked ALL THE THINGS with ALL THE PEOPLE.

I'd prefer to keep it in line with RE5 mercs, RE4 was fun, but getting the best score revolved too much around manipulating spawns. I really hope there's a survival mode too, that would give them an opportunity to bring back some old RE bosses and enemies, there needs to be an up to date Hunter or the killer frogs from RE Zero, or the zombie chimps, it has to happen damn it!

Dude, yes! If they brought back Lickers then RE6 damn well better have Hunters in it. They're probably my favorite creatures in the entire series.
