Overview

Ridge Racer was announced at E3 2011. The announcement was accompanied by an odd "interactive trailer" that runs on Vita hardware and allows users to filter and alter a running dubstep soundtrack while static images of cars are shown behind a variety of visual effects.

The final product is said to be an actual racing game, not an interactive music toy. The interactive music toy will be released in 2012 as a PS Vita app for players to play around with.
