Overview
A top-down action title with a cyberpunk setting, Ruiner was developed by Reikon Games and published under the Devolver Digital label. The protagonist, a man whose face is encased in a reflective helmet, is forced to follow the commands of a mysterious girl known only as "HER" in order to find and rescue his brother.
Players must make careful use of weapons, powers and melee attacks to fight their way through multiple rooms of enemies to reach their goal, as the player has a very limited amount of health and energy before dying.
Story
2091, in a city called Rengkok, a man is directed by an unknown hacker to kill the boss of Heaven. However, he is stopped at the last minute by a hacker known only as "HER," who directs him to kill the hacker who sent him into the tower with hopes of finding and rescuing his brother.
