Ryan says words in some weird ass ways. This thread was made to keep a list of the words he has pronounced differently than what is displayed in the English dictionary.
 
Sword - Original Pronunciation: "Sohrd" Ryan Pronunciation: "Sawohrd"
 
Robot - Original Pronunciation: "Roh-bot" Ryan Pronunciation: "Roh-buht"

Huh. I always thought of him pronouncing 'robot as 'robit' and 'spiderman' as 'spidermin'

Niche can be said either way: /neesh, nitch/ but it just sounds damn odd when I hear /nitch/ and Ryan may be the only person I have ever heard say it that way.
 
Also, I went to my bookshelf, got out my dictionary, looked up Spiderman and it's not there.

His pronunciation of "robot" comes from Futurama.  It's what Zoidberg calls Bender.

I don't know about Ryan but John Davidson saying Mario annoys the fuck out of me!

I don't think he was the first to do it, but I stole his pronounciation of Pokemon. Pokemans!

he pronounces Heihachi and Jun from tekken as HAIHAKI and YUN :P

Everybody who speaks a language of any kind anywhere in the world has an accent. It drives me crazy when I hear fellow Canadians or americans say they have "no accent".

After listening through all the E3 coverage, I came away more impressed with his dedication to the "when the rubber meets the road" saying.

Muskegon, though he was right like 1 out of 5 tries or something (not the person who wrote in, I just live in Michigan; which pronounced by Ryan Davis might be Meesheegan).

That's actually how Isaac Asimov pronounced robot. It's just a Yiddish accent applied to the word (Asimov grew up speaking English and Yiddish).

I like to think Ryan would yell at me for it, but I believe Will's pronunciation of "executable" was correct.

I liked how Ryan pronounced "interesting". He didn't say "intresting". He valued the letter "e".
