We need a dildo power. Like, the ability to erect an amazingly large dick, then turn it into a melee weapon. Retractable dick thing. Maybe it doubles as a grapple hook... who knows?!

This literally looks exactly like SR3 with added DLC. I'm going to be honest, I'm not to hyped... I thought SR3 was ok... but I'm not up for SR4: The Third.

And why would anybody want this with GTA V coming out less than a month later?

Because they're two completely different series at this point? I'm not saying that as a knock against GTA btw, as I enjoy both franchises and will most likely be getting both. Though I'm admittedly more excited for GTAV overall.

I may be in the minority but I always thought these games were stupid. I rented the 2nd game and stopped playing it after I drove into a tree and fell under the map.

After GTA4 and RDR I do not think that Rockstar will break their trend and make a game that isn't like 4,which is enough for me to know that it will probably be not that great to play. I also already know all of the characters are really shitty people that I can't like for any reason, as is par for the Rockstar course.

And yet you still saw fit to speak for the majority? I don't see how you could have somehow missed the fandom for the Saints Row series, even if you happen to not be a fan.

It looks like they're reusing a lot of SR3 assets. That does not bode well.

Besides how goofy, broken and glitchy it is I don't see how much better it is than the average GTA clone. I really tried to like SR 3 but maybe I just don't get it.

Hours later into the day (now night), and I am still very excited for this.

As big of a fan I am of SRIII, you can really tell that this game started out as DLC. The change in the look of the game from SR2 to SRIII is instantly obvious, but even the change from the original Saints Row to the sequel is pretty significant. This on the other hand looks identical to SRIII.

That being said, I'm still cautiously optimistic for the game if Volition is able to identify what they got right in SRIII and improve on their weaknesses. SRIII was a pure power fantasy, and being the leader of the god damn free world can play right into that. What they need to fix though is the lifelessness of SRIII's city, add more depth to the customization that were in SR1 and 2 but not SRIII, and find better ways to integrate activities into the overall experience of the game.

I don't know what this says about me, but there is no game that I am more excited for.

The rational part of me notices how it's virtually identical assets, same NPCs in the city, same clothes on your character and hair, same cars, what appears to be an almost identical city, and overall appearance of just a super long Saints Row The Third DLC. But the fun part of me DON'T CARE!!!!!! The squeal to my favorite game of the entire generation, the only game I've ever bothered to get every achievement for, a game that I played so much I'm embarrassed to say how many hours I put in. I can not wait for it.

Despite how it looks just being able to play something that's basically more Saints Row 3 puts a huge, stupid grin on my face. I mean I saw a giant monster hand and a monster truck back to back! Nice monster synergy. The bringing back super powers, your character is president and fighting aliens. I might cry.

The one and only thing that I guess I will worry about is the writing. I hope the writing can stay on the same level as SR3. As I believe Jeff said, SR3 has the smartest, stupid writing ever for a game. The dialog and story was just this stupid, brilliant mish mash of the absurd and that's the only thing I'll keep my fingers crossed on. Great start though.
