    Saints Row, not to be confused with the original 2006 game of the same name, is a comedic open world action-adventure game developed by Deep Silver Volition and published by Deep Silver for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, and PC on August 23, 2022.

    A reboot of the series of the same name, Saints Row features a new storyline that tones down the wacky over-the-top scenarios of Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row IV, and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, bringing it more in line with the first two games.

    The game is set in the fictional southwest American city of Santo Ileso during a gang war between Los Panteros and the Idols, with the private military corporation Marshall Defense Industries working to eradicate them both. Players control a customizable character known as "The Boss", a former member of Marshall who, after being targeted by both gangs, forms their own gang (the "Saints") with their three friends (Eli, Kevin, and Neenah).

    It is the last game in the Saints Row series and is Volition's final game, as they were shut down by their parent company one year after the game's release.
