    Saw is a survival horror video game based on the popular movie franchise of the same name in which players will encounter familiar characters and solve puzzles to progress. Developed by Zombie Studios and published by Konami, the game runs on the Unreal Engine 3.

    Found this via N4G.  I actually thought that this game was dead but guess not.  Sorry for the long URL, it was on a foreign site but thanks to Google, it's now translated.  Thoughts?

    I think you play as the Victim in the game.  It would be sweet to play as Jigsaw.  Make your own traps and see if people can beat them.  Now that should be an online mode in the game.

    Also, not sure what that trap is supposed to do, but it looks like it could be straight up fuckin' painful.

    Just thought of something.  The deaths animations probably wont be to graphic.  If they are super graphic then it's going to be like Manhunt 2 and get an AO rating.

    Why is this game being made? Does Konami really think that they can make money on this, because I think the window of opportunity for this game has been closed for a while now.

    I agree.  I enjoyed the first two films but it just went down hill from there.  The Saw fans will definitely enjoy the game.

    At best it will be a 2 hour long game with a half-written story played through QTEs.

    At worst it will try and be a game and introduce mechanics which have nothing to do with Saw.
