I've kept my internet previews regarding this game to a very small minimum.
I just started playing the game and immediately identified the voice. 
If this is true, this game got a bagillion times way more "awesomer".

Yep, it is.  I would normally be cool with that, but it makes the character feel like a Nathan Drake rip off.

Is the front of his shirt tucked in? Yes? Then it's Nolan North.

Sure is. Nolan North is a solid voice actor who really does the "regular dude in trouble" type very well. While Nathan Drake is not a total average Joe, he tends to stick to a lot of those roles. This is a good one for him.

My appreciation for him as an actor was when he voice DeadPool.

I think of Drake whenever Jason talks, even though I don't even have a PS3. Is that good for Nolan North, or bad for Uncharted? I don't know.
